About Mark
Co-creator of the Tuesday Date Night Journal
Mark currently works as the sales director at Crystal Practice Management, a company he co-founded. Crystal focuses on practice management software and electronic health records for healthcare providers. Before that chapter of his career, he served as the youth minister and Life Team director at Saint Thomas More Catholic Church in Austin, Texas.
On the food front:
Mark is a steak guy through and through. A good-quality prime rib or a proper tomahawk, paired with a nice glass of bourbon, is his idea of an amazing meal.
He’ll pretty much eat everything else—except mushrooms. Even then, if someone serves mushroom soup at their house, he’ll politely finish the bowl rather than make a fuss.
He’s coached every one of his five kids in at least one sport, and these days he’s starting a fishing club for his nine-year-old son right here in Volente. Whether it’s a Tuesday date night with Jen or a weekend on the water with the kids, Mark shows up fully—ready for the next steak, the next cast, or the next adventure the family schedule throws his way.
