Austin Date Nights is a personal date-night journal. We collect only the information you choose to send through our forms and use it to operate this website and communicate with you.

Information you provide

When you join the newsletter, we collect your email address and the page or signup form that sent it. When you suggest a date night or send a contact message, we collect the name, email, subject, suggestion, notes or message you provide. A submission time and referring page may also be stored.

How we use it

We use newsletter addresses to send Austin Date Nights updates. Suggestions and contact messages are used to read and respond to your note, improve the site and consider future date ideas. We do not sell personal information or rent newsletter lists.

Storage and service providers

Form submissions are processed through Cloudflare Pages and stored in a private Cloudflare KV database available to the site owner. Cloudflare may process ordinary technical information—such as an IP address, browser information and security logs—when it delivers the website or blocks abuse. Map links may connect you to Google Maps, whose privacy practices apply after you use them.

Retention and choices

Submissions are kept only as long as reasonably useful for the purpose described above. You may ask to see or delete information you submitted, or unsubscribe from newsletter messages, through the contact page. Please use the same email address so the correct record can be identified.

Cookies and local storage

The site does not currently run advertising trackers. It uses browser storage to remember when you dismiss the newsletter invitation or complete a signup so the invitation does not repeatedly interrupt you. Linked or embedded services may use their own cookies or similar technologies.

Children’s privacy

The site contains parent–child stories, but its forms are intended for adults. Please do not submit personal information about a child. We intentionally obscure children’s faces in published imagery when requested and do not knowingly collect information directly from children.

Changes

If the site’s forms, analytics or email tools change, this page will be updated to explain the new practice and its effective date.
